Official Contact Routes

Custody and Jail Records

For current county custody, begin with the official NCSO In-Custody Inmate Search. The Nassau County Correctional Center and Sheriff contacts below are the appropriate starting point for routing questions about a county-held booking or identification record. The county pages use both Carman and Carmen street spellings. The Sheriff Department source uses Carman; confirm the address with the records unit before mailing.

Published visitation information is not a records-office schedule. Call 516-572-3802 or 516-572-4200 to confirm records routing and current phone hours before relying on a visit or request plan.

Arrest Reports and Court Status

Police arrest reports follow the arresting agency. When NCPD made the arrest, use its electronic FOIL request. A village agency may keep the report when it made the arrest. For a later case status, use WebCrims where available. The Nassau County Clerk directs Criminal Certificate of Disposition questions to Nassau County Criminal Court at 516-493-3710.

• For current NCCC custody or a county-held booking record, use the roster and Sheriff/NCCC contacts above.
• For an NCPD arrest report, use the NCPD FOIL channel with the incident date, location, and identifying details.
• For an arrest by another local department, contact that agency's records custodian.
• For a state-prison custody question, use the New York incarcerated-individual service.
• For federal or immigration custody, use the relevant federal agency or facility contact rather than the NCCC roster.
